  Sugar Creek band members are all 'veteran' participants of various Bluegrass Kid's Academies in New England.

  These young pickers and singers, aged 11 - 14, have been tutored by CTBMA members/musicians since October 2005. Meeting once per month, they have shown great progress and made their public performance debut at the Killingly Grange Hall on January 28, 2006. They were a surprise guest and the capacity crowd loved them.
